Daycare Program (30months - 5 Years Old)
At Junior Citizens Daycare, our child care program operates from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, providing a safe and nurturing environment for your child. We believe in creating a balance between education and play, ensuring that your child receives a well-rounded experience.
Our weekly themes are carefully planned to offer interesting and engaging learning and play opportunities. Our preschool teachers are exceptional and committed to making each program focused and fun. We prioritize literacy-based learning for our preschool children and have a strong emphasis on reading.
Through our literacy-based approach, children will have access to our library/language program, letter of the week activities, sound tables, songs, rhymes, and stories. We believe that this approach fosters a love for reading and encourages children to become confident and enthusiastic learners.
Pre-School (30 Months - 5 Years Old)
At Junior Citizens Daycare, our pre-school program offers a comprehensive educational experience for children between three and five years old. Our program runs from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, promoting a balance of positive education and play experiences. Each week, we plan engaging and interesting themes to fill your child's day with exciting learning and play opportunities. Our preschool teachers are exceptional, ensuring that our programs are both focused and fun.
Before & After School Care (5 Years - 12 Years Old)
Welcome to our Before and After School Care program! We provide a safe and supportive environment for children before and after school hours, as well as during spring break, winter break and on Pro-D days. Our program is designed to meet the needs of busy families and help children develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Our before school program provides children with a calm and relaxed environment where they can prepare for the school day ahead. Children are then safely escorted to their classrooms, ready and prepared for the day ahead.
Our after school program is designed to provide children with a mix of structured and unstructured activities. We offer homework assistance, literacy and numeracy activities, arts and crafts, outdoor games, and free play.
During spring break and winter break, we offer a variety of exciting activities and field trips that allow children to explore new places and experiences. On Pro-D days, we provide a fun and enriching day camp experience that combines learning and play.
Summer Program
Welcome to our Summer Daycare Program! We are excited to offer a summer filled with fun, adventure and learning for children aged 5-12 years old. Our program runs from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, and includes a variety of activities.
We'll be taking several field trips throughout the summer to nearby lakes and parks. These trips will allow children to explore the great outdoors, have fun in the sun, and experience the beauty of nature. Our experienced and trained staff will ensure that children are safe and supervised at all times during these trips.
Our arts and crafts activities will offer children the opportunity to be creative and express themselves through various mediums. From painting and drawing to making jewelry and creating sculptures, there's something for everyone.
For children attending Summer School, we'll be offering transportation to and from our summer program. Our vehicles are safe and reliable, and our drivers are trained to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in their care.
